MinebeaMitsumi's charge control ICs are suitable for charging single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries and ensure stable charging through highly accurate voltage and current regulation. High safety is achieved through multiple protection features, including battery temperature monitoring via an external thermistor and a built-in charging timer. Additionally, the wide range of supported charging voltages and currents enables flexible system design, allowing compatibility with various battery types. MinebeaMitsumi MM3358 is a linear charge control IC for 1-cell Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Polymer batteries. It integrates a power MOSFET and a reverse-current blocking circuit, enabling charge control without the need for an external sense resistor or reverse-blocking diode. The chip temperature detection function can limit the temperature rise during high power charging . It also enables temperature-based charge control. MM3358 uses a small PLP-10 pin package.
